French to handle daily life and feel at home in France
French courses and workshops for expat women in France â whether you're a mum, a student, with a French partner, here for work, or simply here for a new adventure.
30 min · free · no commitment · in French or English
You live in France, but does French sometimes make you feel like you've lost a part of your independence?
A call to the doctor you put off one more time.
A message from school you read three times to be sure you understood.
A family meal where you smile in silence because you can't find the words.
I help you turn French into an ally in your daily life, so you can dare to speak, build connections and finally feel at home in France.
At FLEarners you don't just learn French: you learn to use it in your real life.
Because a language is lived before it is studied.Â
Where do you start?
Three ways forward, depending on what you need right now.
The creative workshop is open to everyone; the other two are chosen based on your level.

I'm Juliette
A teacher of French as a foreign language. Before creating FLEarners I taught for ten years. I know what it's like to understand a language and still not manage to show who you really are when you speak it: my Erasmus year in Italy, my travels, and learning Japanese and Korean taught me that from the inside.
Learning a language isn't only about knowing the rules. It's being able to laugh with someone, ask a question without panicking, and feel able to be yourself.

Frequently asked questions
Who are FLEarners courses for?
For expat women living in France, or preparing to move here, who want to use French with more confidence day to day: booking an appointment, dealing with school, talking to colleagues or neighbours.
Whether you're starting with a few words or already understand a lot without daring to answer, there's a format for you. We'll work it out together during the call.
What's the difference between one-to-one and group lessons?
One-to-one lessons are built entirely around you: your goals, your situations, your pace. It's the fastest format when you have something specific coming up â an interview, an important appointment, a deadline.
A group gets you practising regularly with other expat women, from real situations. And not being alone changes a great deal when you don't dare to speak.
I'm shy and I lack confidence speaking. Is this for me?
Yes and that's exactly why groups are kept small (4 students max). They're built so you can move forward in a supportive space, without judgement and at your own pace.
The goal isn't to speak perfectly, it's to dare a little more each week and grow in confidence.
What if I miss a session?
It happens, especially with children. You'll get the session materials and a summary of what we covered, so you don't lose the thread.
Sessions aren't made up individually: the block keeps its rhythm, and one missed session out of eight won't stop you following along.
How does payment work?
A block is paid for before the first session, by bank transfer..Â
For one-to-one lessons you can pay per session, or buy a pack of 5 or 10, valid for 6 months.
Which platform, and what time? I'm not in France.
Everything happens online on Microsoft Teams you get a link, there's nothing to install.
All times are Paris time.
What if now was the right time to take the first step?
The simplest thing is to book your free 30-minute call. We'll talk about your level, your goals, and the format that would suit you best. No commitment.
